Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Executive/Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting activities, including day-to-day accounting work, maintenance of books of accounts, and analysis of revenue trends.

The role involves maintaining accurate records of transactions, credits, and adjustments in the accounting system. Additionally, the candidate will implement revenue recognition policies in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

The Senior Financial Executive/Assistant Manager will also handle interaction with external service providers, manage inter-company transactions, and ensure proper documentation and reconciliation. Furthermore, they will facilitate monthly, quarterly, and annual inter-company reconciliations and settlements.

In this role, the candidate will have the opportunity to develop and implement best practices for inter-company transaction processes. They will also collaborate with sales and account management teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of books of accounts and investigation of variances
  • Analysis of revenue trends and development of revenue budgets and forecasts
  • Overseeing the accounts receivable process to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and reconciliation
  • Maintenance and update of customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Preparation and review of aging reports, and management of overdue accounts
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a Commerce graduate degree and have at least 3+ years of practical accounting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential.

A strong ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, is required. Additionally, time management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary to succeed in this position.

Desired Skills

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure. Experience with Tally ERP is an advantage, but not mandatory. A flexible, committed, and driven individual who can adapt to changing circumstances is highly valued.
