Plant Finance and Accounts Leader

A Plant Finance and Accounts leader should drive financial excellence within a manufacturing plant, ensuring the highest standards of financial performance and governance.

  • Key responsibilities: lead financial planning, budgeting, accounting, internal controls, and compliance with local and international regulations and standards.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: manage and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to drive strategic decisions.
  • Accounting and Reporting: ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and preparation of timely and insightful financial reports for management.
  • Compliance & Internal Controls: establish and maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, corporate policies, and internal SOPs.
  • Cost Management & Efficiency: lead initiatives to optimize financial operations, enhance cost efficiency, and provide financial analysis for plant costs and variances to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Team Leadership: build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team within the plant, fostering adherence to standards and high performance.
  • Risk Management: identify and manage financial risks and act as a custodian of the organization's risk register.
  • Stakeholder & Auditor Relations: coordinate with auditors, manage audit processes, and provide financial information and insights to senior management, stakeholders, and the plant head.
  • Business Partnership: serve as a finance business partner to the Plant Head, providing financial guidance and support for improving plant performance and achieving operational goals.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant and proficient in SAP/HANA 4.0 or above with at least 18 years of experience in managing large plant finance and accounting.
