Procurement Specialist Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to drive the success of our procurement operations. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing expert support for procurement modules, ensuring system performance and resolving technical and functional issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Module Support: Provide comprehensive support for procurement modules including requisitions, purchase orders, invoicing, supplier management, and expenses.
  • System Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and resolve technical and functional issues in a timely manner.
  • Business Requirements: Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
  • User Management: Manage user access, roles, and permissions within the procurement system.
  • Integration: Support integration between the procurement system and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, SSO, middleware).
  • System Upgrades: Assist in system upgrades, testing, and deployment of new features or enhancements.
  • Documentation: Document support procedures, FAQs, and training materials for end-users.
  • Issue Resolution: Liaise with vendors and product support teams for issue resolution and product updates.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Requirements:

  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in application support, preferably in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of procurement processes and financial analysis.
  • Ticketing Systems: Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Integration Tools: Familiarity with integration tools (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Priorities: Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Procurement certifications or training.
  • SQL Skills: Experience with SQL, reporting tools, or data analysis.
  • ITIL Practices: Knowledge of ITIL practices.
