Procurement Specialist Trainee

We are seeking a skilled and driven Procurement Specialist Trainee to join our organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth, where you will learn and develop essential skills in procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Support: Provide comprehensive support to the procurement team, assisting with daily activities, including order confirmations, tracking shipments, and communication with suppliers.
  • Order Management: Update order confirmations in our system as soon as they're received from suppliers.
  • Supplier Coordination: Ensure timely order confirmation compliance by coordinating with suppliers.
  • Shipment Tracking: Monitor shipments using information from logistics partners, suppliers, and internal systems.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve issues related to delayed or non-delivered shipments by liaising with suppliers.
  • Communication: Manage the generic mailbox and respond to internal and external queries.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and propose innovative solutions to improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant university degree in Engineering or Business.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and strong computer skills.
  • Certification in Supply Chain and Logistics is desirable.
