Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and ensuring the timely delivery of raw materials and purchased parts.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintaining supplier relationships
- Placing orders for necessary raw materials and purchased parts according to production requirements
- Receiving and handling confirmations
- Tracking shipments and ensuring timely delivery
- Regularly checking stock levels to avoid overstocking
- Minimizing risk of obsolescence through weekly checks of obsolete reports
- Correspondence with freight forwarders, warehouses, and organizing transportation
- Dealing with claims and settling debit and credit issues
- A minimum of 2 years of procurement experience
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- English language proficiency and data entry skills
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Basic algebra and geometry skills
