Country Manager Job Description

Saifen Drugs, a pioneering pharmaceutical company, is seeking an experienced Country Manager to spearhead its growth in Southeast Asia.

About the Role

The Country Manager will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive sales growth, manage profits, and expand the company's presence in the region.

  • Establish and achieve business objectives, develop strategies, and drive growth in the Southeast Asia market.
  • Manage the company's P&L, drive business growth, and foster a strong organizational culture aligned with the company's values.
  • Lead and coach commercial and product development teams to achieve high performance and engagement.
  • Represent the company with clients, investors, and business partners, driving sales objectives and achieving commercial budget and targets.
  • Identify new sales opportunities, build client relationships, and drive sales growth.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team by providing strong mentorship, coaching, and guidance.
  • Monitor market trends, provide competitor analysis, and conduct regular business reviews with sales teams.

Ideal Candidate

  • At least 10 years of experience in B2B sales, account executive, or country head/general manager roles, preferably in the hospital, healthcare, healthtech, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology industries.
  • Prior experience in startups is a strong advantage.
  • Proven leadership skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to build high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable with numerical data, and highly goal-driven with experience working in fast-paced environments.
  • Willingness to undertake 30-60% travel.
