We are seeking a part-time project manager to provide support for our Global Pro Bono program in Bengaluru, India.
Main Responsibilities- Identify and select host organizations and develop Scopes of Work reflecting specific areas of intervention requested by local host organizations.
- Support host organizations in preparing for the arrival of corporate volunteers and arranging stakeholder meetings.
- Participate in conference calls with corporate volunteers and provide advice and guidance on SOW delivery.
- Act as an interface between our organization and partner organizations in Bengaluru, ensuring satisfaction on the part of corporate volunteers and partner organizations.
- Prepare financial and final program reports.
- Assist in procuring and negotiating accommodations and transportation for corporate volunteers in Bengaluru.
- Coordinate program launch and closing events for corporate volunteers and host organizations.
- Prepare guides and suggestions for project guides.
- Orient new corporate volunteers upon arrival in Bengaluru.
- Manage project travel logistics for corporate volunteers while they are in Bengaluru.
- Based in Bengaluru with in-depth area familiarity.
- College degree in project management, organizational development, sustainability, or related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience.
- Exceptional writing and communications skills.
- Able to conduct Gap and SWOT analysis and develop consulting Scopes of Work with limited supervision.
- Experience working with cross-cultural teams and/or skills-based volunteering programs.
- Flexible and able to work in a team and individually with limited supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English with fluency in Kannada a plus.
