About the Role

Ares Management Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Data and Analytics Associate to join its Real Estate Data Operations Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and managing data, ensuring its accuracy and completeness, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and manage data from internal and external sources, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to build relationships and provide support and guidance.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure data quality and continuously improve collection efficiency and accuracy.
  • Upload and enter collected data into relevant systems, making initial checks for omissions and accuracy, and liaising with data providers to resolve issues.
  • Provide first review of uploaded data and take necessary steps to resolve identified issues.
  • Follow processes and workflows to pass data through internal review and approval.
  • Ensure data is collected, reviewed, and approved within internal deadlines and escalate issues.
  • Promote data governance and ensure it is at the forefront of all processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Finance, Surveying, or other business-related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in high-quality, global capital markets, investment management, or real estate firms with expertise in Finance or Operations.
  • Experience of data collection, review, and management with a strong focus on process and working to deadlines.
  • Prior experience with an alternative asset manager preferred.
  • Experience of real estate or investment management systems preferred.
  • Experience or strong understanding of data operations.
