About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Academic Counselor to join our team at Boston Institute of Analytics in Mumbai. As a Data Analytics Career Coach, you will play a vital role in guiding students towards successful careers in data analytics.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in EdTech sales, academic counseling, or a related field. You will be responsible for providing personalized guidance to prospective students on BIA's academic programs, course offerings, fees, curriculum, and prerequisites.

You will work closely with the marketing and admissions teams to drive student enrollments and meet intake targets. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with students, parents, and educational partners.

To succeed in this role, you must stay updated on the latest trends in education and analytics, and provide informed guidance to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Counseling: Provide one-on-one guidance to students on academic programs, course offerings, and career opportunities in data analytics.
  • Admissions Assistance: Assist students through the admission process, including application submissions, interviews, and document verification.
  • Lead Follow-Up and Conversion: Convert potential leads into enrolled students by following up and using effective lead conversion techniques.
  • Presentation and Online Counseling: Deliver engaging presentations, online counseling sessions, and face-to-face meetings to explain the features and benefits of BIA's courses.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of student interactions and follow-up actions in line with industry best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in EdTech sales, academic counseling, or a related field.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer-facing and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with prospective students and their families.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and record-keeping systems.
