**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Telephony Engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, standardizing, implementing, and managing global voice/telephony infrastructure.

You will work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless voice service operations, including monitoring, incidents, problems, and escalations. Your expertise will also be required to define full lifecycle service management for all voice/telephony hardware, from roadmap to operation and continuous improvement.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will implement, coordinate, and support telephony changes, isolate, diagnose, and resolve voice/telephony problems individually or through coordination with others. You will maintain system access and security to safeguard company data.

Furthermore, you will collaborate with various telephony providers on service deliveries, billing, maintenance, support, and configuration changes for legacy PBX infrastructure, POTS lines, PRI lines, and other telephony solutions.

Other tasks include planning and performing Teams telephony migrations from legacy telephony setups, contributing to other IT projects that require voice communication changes, and assisting with the design of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

To succeed in this role, you will require demonstrated experience in areas such as PBX telephone systems, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Voice over IP systems, Teams telephony, and network protocols and standards.

You will also need strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to diagnose and resolve complex telephony issues. Experience coordinating and working with globally distributed teams, collaborating with non-IT stakeholders, and understanding financial impact are essential.
