Cyber Risk and Regulatory Associate Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Risk and Regulatory Associate to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, designing, and implementing IT General Controls (ITGCs) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Implementation: You will work with control owners and operators to ensure quality, consistency, and operability of new and existing controls.
  • Review and Analysis: You will review and analyse control evidence for adherence to accuracy, completeness, and precision of control execution for all ITGC.
  • Testing: You will test controls for new acquisitions and in-scope entities.
  • Collaboration: You will collaborate and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders in a fast-paced and matrixed work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent is required.
  • Knowledge and Experience: You should have knowledge of IT General Controls, automated and security controls, as well as experience in auditing financial applications, cyber security practices, privacy, and various infrastructure platforms.
  • Certifications: CISA / CISM / CRISC / CISSP / ISO 27001 LA certifications are preferred.

Reporting Structure and Key Relationships:

You will report to the Cyber, Risk & Regulatory (Advisory) Manager and work closely with other teams to achieve our goals.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Communication: You should have effective verbal and written communications, including active listening skills.
  • Relationship Building: You should be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and external contractors/auditors.
