**Job Title:** Senior Portfolio Manager

The role of a Senior Portfolio Manager involves overseeing and maintaining the details of private equity funds, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management: Manage portfolio details for private equity funds, including updating information and monitoring cash flows.
  • Investor Reporting: Update quarterly reporting templates to suit investor requirements, providing timely and accurate data.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze the performance of private equity funds using financial reports and cash flows, highlighting key trends and insights.
  • Fund Valuation: Calculate fund valuation data, including investment cost, realized/unrealized value, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Operational KPIs: Track operational KPIs and updates on a quarterly basis, ensuring seamless data reconciliation.
  • Track Records: Create/ update fund track records and reconcile data using cash flow notices, maintaining accuracy and transparency.
  • Fund Multiples: Calculate fund multiples and internal rates of return (IRRs) using cash flows, performing various analytics.
  • Data Reconciliation: Reconcile portfolio-level operational data, including geographical presence and leverage, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with teams to obtain timely information and communicate client status effectively.

Requirements:

  • Education: Post-graduate degree or relevant professional certifications like CFA/CA/MBA/CCRA/CIIA/CAIA.
  • Experience: 1-10 years in relevant financial services, including management reporting or operational finance, preferably with research experience.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with E-front, Power BI, and Microsoft Access is an added advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize workload effectively, with a proactive approach to process enhancement and teamwork.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
