Pricing Strategist Role

We are seeking a Pricing Strategist to drive business growth through data-driven pricing decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy cluster-specific analytics dashboards, reports, and insights.
  • Research and design statistical approaches/models for specific business problems (Price Testing, Price Change, Post Mortem & Category review).
  • Gather, explore, structure, enrich, and clean large datasets from various internal and external sources.
  • Utilize item role designation models in support of category and intent objectives to develop insights.
  • Design scalable retail test processes and frameworks for experiment design, testing, baseline development, assessment, and recommendations.
  • Analyze competitor demographics & performance for pricing across key categories.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis for the pricing team.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations synthesizing multiple data sets to inform pricing decisions.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in an analytical role or 6+ years of experience in a professional environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, statistics, economics, or a quantitative discipline plus 3+ years' experience in an analytical role.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to accumulate, evaluate, and generate insights from disparate data sources.
  • Story building with data – Presentations that depict results in a way that can be shared across levels and actionable insights.
  • Experience in statistical concepts/modeling, process improvement/automation, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
