We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our end-to-end packaging development initiatives. The role combines deep technical expertise in mold development with strategic leadership across packaging projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading and developing junior team members, as well as a strong understanding of packaging material science, testing protocols, and sustainability trends.

Responsibilities include:

  • Mold Development & Technical Expertise: Lead the development and qualification of primary packaging molds, collaborate with mold makers, and conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) and trials.
  • Packaging Development: Drive concept-to-commercialization for primary and secondary packaging, work with R&D, marketing, and procurement teams, and ensure timely scale-up and launch of new products.
  • Vendor & Overseas Coordination: Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas packaging suppliers, negotiate costs, and ensure adherence to timelines and quality.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of packaging developers and junior engineers, provide technical guidance, coaching, and career development support, and oversee resource planning and workload distribution.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Deep technical knowledge of primary packaging mold development
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and overseas coordination skills
  • Experience leading and developing junior team members
  • Understanding of packaging material science, testing protocols, and sustainability trends
