Software Packaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Software Packaging Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the preparation, testing, and release of software within customer environments.

  • Our ideal candidate will ensure the right packaging approach is used for each application, taking into account factors such as complexity and deployment requirements.

The role involves executing the steps of the application packaging process within Service Level Agreement (SLA) limits, including:

  • Application intake and analysis
  • Packaging using various tools and technologies
  • Technical testing and quality assurance
  • Documentation and delivery
  • Deployment and maintenance

In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will resolve incidents and requests related to software packages in accordance with the SLA, update customers and ITSM tickets throughout their lifecycle, and collaborate with change management, customers, application owners, and vendors as needed.

Key skills required for this position include:

  • Thorough knowledge of MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Intune product family, including Microsoft Configuration Manager, with a focus on application creation/integration and deployment
  • Excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills
  • Proficiency in English

Preferred skills include experience with preparing applications for Citrix environments, Microsoft certifications such as MD-100: Windows 10, and experience supporting multiple customer environments simultaneously.
