As a key player in the pharmaceutical and consumer goods sectors, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our packaging design and development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Packaging Design & Development for new & existing products (Domestic & International)
  • New Product Development Project for Pharmaceuticals & Consumer Business
  • Financial delivery in cost savings for packaging materials through strategic buying initiatives

The ideal candidate will have experience in Pharma, Nutraceuticals/Cosmeceuticals, and FMC packaging, with a Full Time degree from IIP.

Responsibilities include:

Project Management:
  • Trial materials arrangement
  • Sourcing, Vendor Development, Selection and Performance Evaluation
  • Change control and Material code creation through DDRL and CQA
  • Cost Negotiations and finalisation for NPD
  • Shade card approval and ship to site
  • Ensure timely packaging material supply for first commercial supply
Innovation:
  • To generate new ideas in packaging material of existing & new products
  • - New packaging material introduction
  • - New material processing technique
  • - Innovation in packing & filling line
  • - Introduction of Latest printing and decoration techniques
Packaging Material vendor development:
  • To develop new / alternate vendors based on ideas generated and approved by business
  • - Packaging Material existing / new dosage forms
  • - Mould Development and amortisation
  • - Rate discussion with DSG
