Job Title: Financial Administrator (Compliance and Operations)
About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to support our finance team. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Australian bookkeeping, accounting standards, and taxation rules.
This is a full-time remote position that requires flexibility and adaptability. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping, preparing financial records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with Australian accounting standards.
- Assist with BAS, GST, and other tax-related filings.
- Process payroll and superannuation contributions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Work with accountants to prepare financial reports and ensure compliance.
- Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (Australian clients or companies preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB.
- Solid understanding of BAS, GST, superannuation, and other Australian compliance requirements.
- Fluent English (written and verbal) with clear, professional communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible, remote work aligned to Australian business hours.
