Job Title:

Operations Manager

 

Job Description:

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of Wire Drawing, Pickling & Patenting units.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Operations Management: Oversee daily functioning of Wire Drawing, Pickling & Patenting units.
  • Production Planning and Monitoring: Plan and monitor daily production to meet delivery and quality targets.
  • Process Improvements: Drive initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Cost Optimization: Manage operational costs, reduce wastage, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and monitor shop-floor team for performance and productivity.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams for smooth workflow.
  • Safety and Environmental Compliance: Enforce strict compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Prepare production reports, analyze performance gaps, and implement corrective actions.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Wire Drawing, Pickling & Patenting operations.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership, team-handling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Hands-on exposure to process optimization, productivity improvement, and cost control.
  • Time Management: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• 5+ years of experience in Wire Drawing, Pickling & Patenting processes
