Inventory Management Specialist

A key role in our team, the Inventory Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management across all outlets and corporate functions.

Job Description:

The Inventory Management Specialist conducts thorough audits of inventory levels, stock movements, and sales transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. They verify stock counts against records and identify any discrepancies or process gaps. The specialist checks compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and statutory requirements, and supports in preparing audit reports and documentation with findings and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough audits of inventory levels, stock movements, and sales transactions.
  • Verify stock counts against records and identify any discrepancies or process gaps.
  • Check compliance with SOPs and statutory requirements.
  • Support in preparing audit reports and documentation.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and numerical ability, basic knowledge of accounting principles, attention to detail and accuracy, good communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and ability to travel frequently to different outlets/locations.

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance/Accounts) or equivalent.

Experience: Freshers or up to 1 year of experience in audit/accounting.
