Senior Product Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Product Manager to lead the product strategy for our enterprise software platform, focusing on the SAS Viya 3 platform.

This key role involves evaluating, prioritizing, and aligning customer requirements with future releases of SAS Viya and our vision of being the most trustworthy analytics partner.

As the product management lead for this platform, you will play a strategic global role, partnering with software engineering, customer support, and enablement teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

You will communicate product functionality and knowledge to internal constituents and promote the benefits of our solutions to customers, partners, and community members.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and prioritize product requirements based on business drivers, customer inputs, market direction, and field contribution.

- Translate business requirements into technical, functional, and non-functional requirements.

- Define user personas and write use cases.

- Drive product development and collaborate with software development teams.

- Present product vision, roadmap, and software demonstrations to internal constituents, customers, and others.

Role Competencies

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage in technical discussions with customers, partners, and industry analysts.

- Excellent critical thinking skills with a demonstrated history of making good decisions in a fast-paced environment.

- Comfortable communicating with people in public forums to deliver presentations, demos, workshops, webinars, videos, and other technical content.

Requirements

- 8+ years of experience in Product Management, or related functions in the technology industry.

- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
