Job Description

The Software Development Leader will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver complex software projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires a deep understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development team to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, implementation plans, and testing strategies
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Mentor and coach team members to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on leadership and management
  • Proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems
