We're seeking a highly motivated Senior Oracle DBA with a strong development background in a fast-paced production support and full-lifecycle implementation team.

Responsibilities:

Full life cycle support of client's database(s). Apply RAC and non-RAC for OLTP and warehouse, Active DataGuard for DR, partitioning on 12c and 19c on premises and cloud environment.

Experience with Oracle Exadata patching and maintenance is required.

Database backups, design, development, testing, and performance tuning are also your responsibilities.

Collaborate with developers to design and build new structures for application enhancements and promote database changes throughout Dev, UAT, and Prod databases.

Participate in quarterly patch applications (PSU) and periodic database upgrades with minimal downtime in the database environment.

  • 5+ years of experience with database system implementation and administration.
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Manage high-transaction Standalone/RAC production server environments on premises and cloud environments.
  • Understand and meet end users' needs.
  • Work with multiple projects in a dynamic, fast paced, and often changing environment.
  • Strong skills in design, development, administration.
  • Knowledge of Automatic storage management is required.
  • Solve complex database performance issues using AWR/ASH/ADDM/TKPROF/SQLT/10046 tracing/OSWatcher/CHM etc.
  • Oracle Exadata knowledge is essential.
  • Database upgrade/migration knowledge is required.
  • Backup and recovery tool experience (RMAN/EXPDP/IMPDP).
  • Physical Standby configuration, build, and support including DataGuard Broker and replication.
  • Database programming and query troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager knowledge.
  • Experience managing databases in AWS cloud environments.
  • Shell scripting experience.
  • Good written/oral communication and soft skills.
  • Oracle certification can be beneficial.
