**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a high-impact Strategic Policy Lead to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping our regulatory strategy and driving internal alignment.

This is an exciting opportunity to partner closely with senior leadership and influence the external environment through policy advocacy and stakeholder engagement.

About This Role:

The Strategic Policy Lead will act as both a strategic analyst and execution partner to the Chief Regulatory Officer, helping to frame policy narratives, manage external engagement, and guide internal stakeholders on regulatory implications that affect our diverse businesses across telecom, digital, financial services, entertainment, and distribution.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and articulate policy positions across telecom, broadcasting, financial services, entertainment, and digital ecosystems.
  • Track, monitor, and analyze competition, market and regulatory trends & provide strategic updates to support policy advocacy.
  • Prepare briefing notes, presentations, regulatory submissions, and communication strategies to influence key stakeholders.
  • Standardize reporting mechanisms to track regulatory engagements and advocacy outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within Regulatory team and other cross-functional teams (Legal, Compliance, Product, Network, Ops, etc.) to ensure alignment of business goals with evolving regulatory priorities.
  • Support the CRO in prioritization, resource planning, and coordination of high-impact projects across multiple business lines.

  • Able to create compelling arguments in both technical and non-technical language.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Lateral thinker with a problem-solving mindset and intellectual creativity.
  • Proven track record of stakeholder management across policymakers, regulators, and cross-functional business teams.
Qualifications & Experience:

You should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Law, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 2–3 years of experience in policy, research or a related strategic function, preferably in telecom, digital, or technology-driven sectors.
  • Strong understanding of India's telecom, digital, and data policy landscape; international exposure will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL preferred).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
