Job Description

Procurement / Purchase Engineer

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement / Purchase Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the procurement department, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier selection and evaluation
  • Process knowledge and knowledge to upgrade and betterment
  • Knowhow of mechanical and electrical components
  • Knowledge of proprietary parts, consumables and chemicals
  • Value addition and value engineering
  • Exceptional command on process of castings, forgings, fasteners, winding wires, cables and other proprietary products
  • SAP knowledge
  • PPAP, PSW and APQP process awareness
  • Coordination with design team and plant for development

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:

  • UG: Any Graduate
  • PG: Any Postgraduate

Industry Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing role

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
