We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Travel Insurance Sales Director to drive growth and manage the sales strategy for our travel insurance division at HR Yaar.
Estimated salary: 6,000,000 - 8,000,000 per annum
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to leverage their expertise in business development, team leadership, and client management to propel our travel insurance segment forward.
- Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and drive business expansion in the travel insurance sector.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to meet individual and collective goals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Business Development: Identify new opportunities, build strong relationships with key accounts, travel agencies, and distribution partners, and capitalize on emerging trends.
- Client Management: Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention through proactive communication, issue resolution, and value-added services.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Analyze sales performance, provide actionable insights to senior leadership, and accurately forecast sales targets to inform strategic decisions.
- Negotiation & Closing: Effectively negotiate with high-value clients, closing deals that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to synchronize sales strategies, ensure seamless execution, and maximize ROI.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to optimize sales approaches and stay ahead of the competition.
- 4-5 years of experience in sales within the travel insurance industry, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing high-value accounts.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
- Leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and drive team performance, foster a positive work environment, and promote a culture of accountability.
- Deep understanding of the travel insurance market, customer needs, and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with an MBA being a significant advantage.
- Experience in B2B and B2C sales within the insurance or travel sector, with a focus on developing innovative sales strategies and tactics.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and digital sales tools, including data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.
