Job Title: Technical Operations Specialist

This position is responsible for managing and maintaining Linux systems, Kubernetes clusters, and datacenter infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Linux system administration, knowledge of Kubernetes management, and a good understanding of networking protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Linux System Administration
    • Manage, configure, and optimize RHEL, Ubuntu, or similar Linux servers.
    • Apply patches, perform security hardening, and tune for performance.
  • Kubernetes Management
    • Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters.
    • E nsure high availability and scalability.
  • Datacenter Infrastructure
    • Oversee physical infrastructure including servers, storage systems, and networking hardware in on-premises data centers.
  • Security and Compliance
    • Apply updates and security patches to Linux-based Kubernetes environments.
    • Ensure alignment with internal security and compliance policies.
  • Collaboration and Support
    • Work closely with global SRE and Platform teams.
    • Support enterprise systems and Kubernetes clusters.
  • Incident and Case Management
    • Manage service tickets effectively using tools such as ServiceNow or Salesforce.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven hands-on experience in Linux system administration
    • Certifications like RHCSA or RHCE are a plus
    • Solid knowledge and practical experience in Kubernetes administration
      • Certifications like CKA or CKS are an advantage
      • Experience working with bare-metal infrastructure
        • Servers, Storage Arrays, And Networking Components
      • Good understanding of networking protocols and technologies
        • TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls, and Load Balancers
      • Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure layers
        • Hardware, OS, and Kubernetes
      • Experience with automation tools
        • Ansible, BASH, or Python is beneficial
      • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools
        • Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack is a plus
      Soft Skills
      • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
      • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on reliability, scalability, and automation
      • Adaptability to fast-paced, evolving environments
