Job Summary:

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Database Professional to manage and administer SQL Server databases.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure SQL Server and Azure SQL Subscription management, with a proven track record in database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and monitoring.

This role offers a fully remote opportunity for professionals located in India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer SQL Server databases (on-premises and Azure SQL).
  • Plan, implement, and oversee Azure SQL Subscription services.
  • Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and monitoring.
  • Configure and maintain disaster recovery, backups, and high availability solutions.
  • Implement and monitor security policies, access controls, and compliance standards.
  • Plan and execute database migrations from on-premises SQL Server to Azure SQL.
  • Work with development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD and database lifecycle management.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and proactively address database health and capacity concerns.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
  • Strong experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting database issues.
  • Deep knowledge of T-SQL, backup/recovery, replication, indexing, and security configurations.
  • Familiarity with Azure services like Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Azure Automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.

Work Environment:

  • Fully remote role; candidates must be located in India.
