As a data scientist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our innovative technology.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance ranking, interview analytics, and payouts systems.
  • Design and execute A/B tests and quasi-experiments, driving product decisions with actionable insights.
  • Create intuitive dashboards and data models, empowering teams to self-serve answers and inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineers to instrument events, improve data quality, and reduce latency from ingestion to insight.
  • Prototype machine learning models to optimize matching and scoring, leveraging techniques from gradient boosting to baselines.
  • Evaluate Large Language Model (LLM) agents, designing rubrics, human-in-the-loop studies, and guardrail canaries to ensure their reliability and efficacy.

You possess a strong foundation in statistics, SQL, and Python, accompanied by a portfolio of projects that showcase your expertise. Your ability to iterate quickly, framing questions, testing hypotheses, and shipping results in days is invaluable. Additionally, your passion for clarity in communication and statistical significance will serve you well in this role. Curiosity about LLM evaluation, retrieval, and ranking is a plus, as you'll be working alongside experienced professionals who have shipped at top tech companies.

Requirements:

  • 0–2 years of experience in data science or analytics, or a related field; BS/BA in a quantitative discipline (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python for analysis, and experiment design, with a solid grasp of causal thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey complex ideas to engineers, product managers, and leadership.
  • Nice-to-haves: dbt, dashboarding tools (e.g., Hex, Mode, Looker), marketplace or search/recommendation metrics, LLM/agent evaluation.
