Strategic Software Engineering Leader.

About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Leader to spearhead our software development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing software engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Your expertise in designing and architecting complex software systems will be crucial in driving innovation and growth within our organization.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage software engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Collaborate with senior management to align technology goals with business objectives
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of software solutions
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, clients, and team members
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with software development and deployment
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering teams

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in IBM Open Pages (8.3.x and later), including designing and developing complex flows for Governance Risk and Compliance space
- Extensive experience in the GRC domain
- Strong experience with TFUI, workflows, configuration, views, calculations, security, triggers, helpers, APIs, AFCON, object models, integration, etc
- Proven experience in designing and architecting solutions on IBM OpenPages and Cognos Framework
- Proficient in Java to support IBM OpenPages APIs and ability to mentor the team
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and processes
- Experience with Python language
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction at all levels
- Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders within the organization

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Experience with full lifecycle of IBM OpenPages version upgrades and migrations
- Strong background working with Java/J2EE
- Python language development
- Devops with CI/CD experience
- Data integration with SQL and Informatica
- Exposure to batch scripting, and Windows environments
- Knowledgeable on Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc)
- IBM OpenPages developer certification
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Creative approach to problem-solving, innovation, and issue resolution
