Job Title: Software Engineering Leader

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineering leader to join our team.

This role plays a crucial part in leading the development of innovative technology solutions that meet business objectives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale technology systems that are secure, stable, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading proof-of-concept implementations and providing technical guidance to the wider team.
  • Applying test engineering methodologies, test-driven development, and Agile software delivery principles.
  • Designing and implementing cloud-native, loosely coupled, microservices-based platforms and related tools and best practices.
  • Leading test engineering activities for large and complex payments landscapes.
  • Operating with an automation-first mindset to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
  • 5+ years of applied experience in software engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in tool and frameworks such as Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG.
  • Progressive experience in API-based systems, automated validation, and good analytical skills.
  • Strong hands-on programming experience.
