About the Role:
  • This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a senior support analyst specializing in AS/400 systems. If you have experience with system architecture diagrams, COBOL, RPG programming, and DB2 databases, we'd love to hear from you
Responsibilities:
  1. Familiarize yourself with the system architecture diagram of the AS/400 application, including its interface mechanisms with upstream and downstream systems.
  2. Document various AS/400 environments, such as Production, Pre-prod, Test, and Dev, along with OS levels and database versions.
  3. Perform a walkthrough of complex, critical, or error-prone COBOL, RPG code modules, including customized routines.
  4. Understand how the AS/400 application integrates with other systems.
  5. Monitor and maintain current monitoring mechanisms, log directories, and housekeeping processes on AS/400 servers.
