Talentas Technology seeks a skilled developer to lead the implementation of IBM i / AS/400 solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage expertise in RPG IV, RPG Free Format, CLLE, and ILE concepts to drive project success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver applications and products using various software technologies
  • Maintain and enhance existing systems, ensuring optimal performance and scalability
  • Develop and implement new features, adhering to industry standards and best practices

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with IBM i / AS/400 platform, including DB2/400 – physical/logical files, SQL, journaling, triggers
  • Strong command of RPG IV, RPG Free Format, CLLE, and ILE concepts, as well as OMS, Inventory, WMS, and PO modules
  • Proficiency in debugging techniques, using STRDBG, job logs, and error analysis
  • Familiarity with batch jobs, interactive screens, menus, and subfiles
  • Experience with file-based integrations and data exchange formats (EDI, XML, CSV)
  • Knowledge of Change Management tools (Aldon, Turnover, Rocket, etc.)
  • Understanding of business workflows in the supply chain or retail domain
