We are seeking an experienced AS/400 expert to join our team and help clients succeed in their digital transformation journeys.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to IBM AS/400 systems, ensuring seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems.
  • Develop and maintain system architecture diagrams, including interface mechanisms with other systems.
  • Document environment details, OS levels, and database versions for various AS400 environments.
  • Perform code walkthroughs of complex COBOL and RPG code modules, including customized routines.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to established processes.
  • Support interactions with infrastructure teams and L2/L3 support teams for AS400 dependencies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience with IBM AS/400 (COBOL, RPG III, RPGILE, SQLILE, CLLE)
  • Proficiency in COBOL programming language.
  • Familiarity with DB2 databases, CL commands, and communication protocols specific to AS400.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
