Job Title: Data Factory Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Data Factory specialist to join our team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure Data Factory, proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server, and experience with cloud-based data solutions.

  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop efficient ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, ensuring seamless data flow and high-quality data delivery.

  • Craft complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuned scripts for effective data transformation and validation.

  • Integrate data from various sources, including Azure Blob Storage, SQL Server, REST APIs, and on-premise systems.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows to ensure reliability and quality.

  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver targeted solutions.

  • Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining ADF pipelines, triggers, linked services, and datasets.

  • Strong hands-on experience with T-SQL and SQL Server, including stored procedures, indexing, optimization, and SSMS.

  • Experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Data Lake, and understanding of cloud-based data storage and processing.

  • Familiarity with parameterization, dynamic content, and data flows in ADF.

  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL best practices, and data modeling.

  • Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or other version control systems.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified Associate: Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent certification.

  • Experience with Power BI, Databricks, or Logic Apps is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Python or PowerShell for automation.
