Lead Data Architect Position

As a Lead Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data processing systems using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Delta Lake. Your expertise in Apache Spark and Python will enable the development of efficient data pipelines, while your knowledge of data warehouse concepts will facilitate the management of end-to-end analytics and Lakehouse architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, test, and maintain scalable data processing architectures utilizing Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Delta Lake.
  • Develop and implement data pipelines leveraging Apache Spark and Python to ensure high-performance data processing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data warehousing solutions, incorporating hands-on experience with setting up end-to-end analytics, managing Lakehouse, and Medallion Architecture.
  • Utilize Microsoft Fabric for comprehensive analytics solutions, encompassing data ingestion, transformation, storage, and visualization.
  • Apply advanced data analytics techniques using Delta Lake tables and work with large datasets to derive actionable insights.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python, with SQL being a primary requirement.
  • Experience with Apache Spark for data processing (Python version).
  • Thorough understanding of Delta files and Lakehouse architecture.
  • Hands-on skills in setting up end-to-end analytics, managing Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture, using Apache Spark and Delta Lake tables, handling data ingestion with Dataflows Gen2, creating pipelines with Data Factory, and setting up data warehouses.
