Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead our data center operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our data center operations, while also owning service level agreements (SLAs), predictive maintenance, safety, audit readiness, compliance, and space management.

The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in data center infrastructure, as well as excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities. They should also have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about data center operations and wants to take on a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead shift teams and ensure all planned and unplanned activities are executed within timelines with good communication.
  • Track all complaints and close them within SLA deviations.
  • Manage incidents and perform root cause analysis (RCA) with timely recommendations and periodic reviews.
  • Own asset management, including warranties, annual maintenance contracts (AMCs), lifecycles, and capacity management.
  • Oversee 5 ppm tracking and completion within time-averaged targets (TATs) with OEMs and ensure 100% availability of equipment.
  • Manage vendors and track return-to-availability times (RATs) and TATs for compliant issues, ensuring uptime for redundant equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain records for all stocks as per business continuity planning (BCP) requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for customer-related queries and submit reports on time.
  • Maintain 100% compliance with periodic trackers.
  • Maintain physical security processes.
  • Prepare risk assessments and periodic validations based on incidents and RCA findings.
  • Update inventory records up to date with capacity vs actual consumption vs balance on a monthly basis, including customer details on rack inventory.
  • Submit reports on time with agreed-upon timelines.
  • Achieve 100% audit and compliance.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in health, safety, and environment (HSE).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 7+ years of progressive experience in data center and/or critical facilities.
