Steel Structure Modelling Job

We are looking for an experienced Tekla Steel Modeller & Detailer with a strong background in steel structure modelling and detailing. The successful candidate will work closely with clients on industrial and commercial projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Study and understand structural drawings/reference models/contractual documents to learn project scope of work and requirements.
  • Analyse architectural and MEP drawings/models to ensure accurate steel structure design.
  • Create 3D steel models coordinating with multiple disciplines, including architecture, engineering and construction.
  • Prepare structural 2D erection and shop drawings using Tekla Structures.
  • Interpret and incorporate approval comments, design changes, and revisions into the project scope.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Prepare RFIs related to projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in steel structure modelling.
  • Proficient in Auto CAD and Tekla Structures, with a strong understanding of steel structure design principles.
  • Experience working on international projects, with knowledge of European standards.
  • Hands-on experience with Idea statiCA is an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills, with FEM competence being a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with clear English language proficiency.
