Job Description:

As a Sales and Marketing Professional at Accor, you will be responsible for building business by identifying and prospecting opportunities, maintaining relationships with clients, and filling the sales funnel with leads. You will analyze sales options aligned with the hotel sales strategy and research the market to increase the hotel share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize revenues through account deployment and prospect new business through assigned source markets.
  • Secure revenue for Rooms, Meetings & Events, and F&B.
  • Implement SMART contracting to ensure optimum yielding during annual rate negotiations.
  • Provide administrative support and value-add to enhance the current sales effort.
  • Consistently arrange meetings & calls with customers, averaging 4 meetings a day as minimal customer engagement.
  • Manage corporate accounts, strengthen business relationships, and analyze accounts' production reports.
  • Develop short & long-term action plans for deployed accounts.
  • Share market intelligence and account insights.
  • Work effectively with key stakeholders within Rooms, Revenue, F&B, Banquet, and Marketing Departments.
  • Manage clear, concise written and verbal communication with customers and colleagues.
  • Engage customers in events to saturate the account and meet with key contacts.

Qualifications:

  • 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major.
  • 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area.
  • Two years of experience in a Sales position, preferably in a global hotel chain.
  • Local market experience is mandatory, with GCC market knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment.
  • Confident personality with leadership skills and good presentation skills.
  • English – excellent oral and written skills.
  • Computer literacy adapted to the field of Sales: strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
  • Self-motivated personality and a great team player, who supports team members and coaches them with previous experience.
