The Sales function at Bennett Coleman and Co. About the Position

This role is responsible for developing and implementing sales, marketing, and product development programs, both short and long term, targeting existing and new markets. Key duties include planning, executing, and evaluating sales strategies to achieve budgeted figures and incremental business.

Areas of Responsibility

Sales Planning

Assess and analyze client information, market trends, and competition to prepare a vertical sales plan, collaborating with the reporting manager to achieve budgeted figures.

Smartsell and New Initiatives

Analyze market research and competition with the reporting manager to create implementable plans for new opportunities, and suggest ideas in sync with client communication objectives to secure incremental business.

Client Servicing

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and agencies, sharing market developments and creating awareness of existing and new services, ensuring smooth implementation and logistics, and addressing client concerns to become their preferred media vehicle.

Sales Review

Provide information on order bookings, client calls, and other key metrics to the reporting manager, participating in weekly and monthly sales reviews to suggest necessary course corrections and ensure sales targets are achieved.

Requirements

Post-Graduation in Sales and Marketing from a reputable MBA school.

Experience

4-8 years of experience in sales and marketing.

  • Knowledge of media, advertising, clients, and agency businesses
  • Real estate sales experience is mandatory
