Final Test Engineer Position

As a skilled and experienced engineer, you will be responsible for conducting FAT tests for semiconductor equipment and qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct FAT tests for semiconductor equipment and qualification.
  • Execute checklists and procedures, updating tasks as needed.
  • Manage the final test checklist, ensuring timely completion and sign-off.
  • Analyze data, collect and process information.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, conducting diagnostic procedures and determining corrective actions.
  • Record process documentation and production data meticulously.
  • Refine process recipes based on test recipes and customer requirements.
  • Pump down vacuum chambers and load-locks with safety measures.
  • Interpret PNID diagrams and make tweaks as required.
  • Handle gases like CDA, N2, and helium, with added advantage if handling process chemistry.
  • Operate Kawasaki robots, load ports, aligner, and Ionizer bar.
  • Evaluate ESD requirements for platforms.
  • Handle delicate semiconductor wafers/panels with precision and care.
  • Perform tool leveling and verify lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  • Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
  • Maintain basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft suites.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Work in cleanroom environments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Coach team members on mechanical components, adjustment, and alignment.
  • Write daily reports and present to the team, supervisor, and manager.
  • Provide input on peers during yearly reviews.
  • Support new product launches, ensuring supplier quality meets standards.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, software, or mechanical engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in relevant final testing/process.
  • Substantial experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working in equipment engineering in Semiconductor, Solar, or LED industries.
  • Experience in the Final Test Area.
  • CAD, Solid work, and inventor knowledge is a plus.
  • Software and PLC knowledge and understanding is a plus.
  • Good understanding of electrical and electronics troubleshooting down to component level.
  • Lean manufacturing skills.
  • Experience dealing with customers and suppliers.
