Job Overview

The role of Finance Associate is to manage and oversee share transfers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee share transfers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate smooth transfer processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of share ownership and transactions.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely maintenance of financial records and books of partners.
  • Prepare and update financial statements for partners.
  • Support audit processes and prepare relevant documentation.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports: monthly, quarterly, and annual.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities.

Compliance & Governance:

  • Ensure adherence to internal control systems, company policies, and applicable laws/regulations.
  • Establish and implement best practices for finance operations to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other finance team members, auditors, and external parties to ensure seamless operations and compliance.
  • Provide support for finance-related projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a CMA qualification (Cost & Management Accountant), be fully qualified or in an advanced stage.
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in finance operations, specifically in share transfers and partners' books maintenance.
  • Have a strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Be proficient in accounting software and possess advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Display strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
