Senior Database Administrator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator to design, implement, and maintain large-scale database systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Administration: Ensure optimal performance and scalability of Intersystems IRIS/Cache(Ensemble) in a large enterprise environment.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement robust security best practices and access control policies to protect sensitive data.
  • Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning: Conduct thorough capacity planning and performance tuning exercises to identify bottlenecks and optimize system resources.
  • Backup and Recovery Strategies: Design and implement comprehensive backup strategies in IRIS, ensuring seamless disaster recovery.
Requirements:
  • At least 2+ years of experience in database development in a large enterprise environment.
  • Strong expertise in administering Intersystems IRIS/Cache(Ensemble), with a deep understanding of its architecture and features.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Good knowledge of Azure and Agile methodologies, with experience in integrating IRIS with ETL/BI software.
  • Strong understanding of database design and data modeling principles, with experience in implementing monitoring and support tools in IRIS.
