Expert PL/SQL Developer Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled PL/SQL developer to take on a challenging role within our organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create, maintain, and optimize complex database systems using PL/pgSQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and cursors.
  • Analyze, design, and execute SQL queries, including joins, sub-queries, and merge operations for optimal performance.
  • Perform data analysis, query tuning, and indexing to enhance PostgreSQL database efficiency.
  • Automate data loads using scripting methods, such as Pgloader, to streamline processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure databases align with business requirements.
  • Develop shell scripts and automate database-related tasks on Linux platforms.
  • Maintain best practices for database performance, security, and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Primary skills: PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, and strong database knowledge.
  • Secondary skills: Shell scripting and Linux expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with PL/pgSQL stored procedures, triggers, cursors, functions, and packages.
  • Strong understanding of SQL query design, optimization, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL indexing and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with data load automation tools (Pgloader preferred).
