Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled database engineer with expertise in designing, optimizing and managing databases. The ideal candidate will be proficient in architecting scalable, secure and high-performance databases that ensure data integrity and support AI-driven applications.

The database engineer will collaborate closely with our AI/Engineering teams to optimize storage, retrieval and analytics pipelines. Key responsibilities include designing, developing and maintaining scalable database architectures (SQL & NoSQL), optimizing database queries, indexing and performance tuning, ensuring data security, compliance, backup and disaster recovery, building and maintaining ETL pipelines to support AI/ML and analytics workflows, integrating databases with APIs, CRMs and external systems, and monitoring database health, troubleshooting issues and improving reliability.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong proficiency with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, etc.), experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.), knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS) is a plus, expertise in database optimization, indexing and partitioning, solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines and data modeling, experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, Azure SQL), familiarity with backup, replication and high availability strategies, and strong Python/SQL scripting skills for automation.

Key qualifications include:
