Senior Revenue Analyst Role

The Senior Revenue Analyst is a key member of the revenue team, responsible for ensuring accurate revenue recognition aligns with applicable accounting standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough reviews of contracts to ensure revenue meets accounting standards
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries related to revenue and associated accounts
  • Support quarterly and annual audits, preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests
  • Manage internal relationships within the organization, including Operations, General Ledger Accounting, IT, etc.
  • Perform ad hoc revenue analysis and reporting as needed
  • Oversee special projects assigned by management
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting, preferably revenue accounting
  • Public Accounting and/or professional services or IT industry experience highly preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification a plus
Key Skills:
  • Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition standard and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Workday experience beneficial
