Compensation Package:
We offer an attractive compensation package including a salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, and other benefits such as medical insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
Job Description:
This role involves providing timely delivery of assigned tasks, requiring a strong knowledge in denial management, trend analysis, and reviewing documents and EOBs. The ideal candidate will be able to identify end actions to perform and possess proven job knowledge in Hospital Billing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Call insurance companies (in the US) on behalf of doctors/physicians and follow up on outstanding Accounts Receivable.
• Prioritize pending claims for calling from the aging basket.
• Convince claims companies (payers) for payment of their outstanding claims.
• Check the appropriateness of insurance information given by patients if it is inadequate or unclear.
• Make physical calls following international norms and applicable rules for confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Escalate difficult collection situations to management in a timely manner.
• Review provider claims that have not been paid by insurance companies.
• Handle patient billing queries and update their account information.
• Post cash and write off contractual adjustments accordingly while working on accounts.
• Meet daily/weekly and monthly targets set for an individual.
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of experience in Revenue Cycle and Delivery Management.
• Experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management process.
• Possess adequate knowledge in Accounts Receivables.
• Willingness to work in a US Shift.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to prioritize and manage work queue.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
