Placement Manager

Job Description:

The Placement Manager will play a pivotal role in forging strong relationships with industry partners to secure employment opportunities for students.

  • Develop Strong Employer Networks: The successful candidate will build and maintain robust connections with employers across various sectors, including beauty, wellness, healthcare, hospitality, retail, and allied fields.
  • Organize Campus Placement Drives: This individual will oversee the organization and management of campus placement drives, job fairs, and employer engagement sessions to ensure that students have ample opportunities for employment.
  • Align Student Skills with Market Needs: The Placement Manager will collaborate with Centre Heads and trainers to align student skills with market requirements, guaranteeing that students are well-equipped to succeed in their chosen careers.
  • Guide Students in Resume Preparation: This role involves guiding students in resume preparation, interview readiness, and workplace etiquette to prepare them for the workforce.
  • Maintain Employer Databases: The Placement Manager will maintain accurate employer databases, track placement outcomes, and publish regular MIS reports to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Cross-Sector Placement Opportunities: This individual will explore cross-sector placement opportunities (beyond wellness) to maximize student employability and increase their chances of success.
  • Retention and Feedback Mechanisms: The Placement Manager will ensure retention and feedback mechanisms to strengthen employer satisfaction and build long-term relationships.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualifications: A graduate or MBA with 4-8 years of experience in placements, recruitment, or HR is essential.
  • Industry Network: A strong industry network in South India is required.
  • Background: Candidates from HR/Recruitment Consulting or Placement Aggregator backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills are crucial.
  • Target-Driven: The successful candidate must be target-driven with a proven ability to meet placement commitments.
  • Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office / MIS reporting is necessary.
