Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Indirect Tax professional to lead our tax management team in Tirupati, India.

About the Role:
  • Manage complex GST related assignments, including retainership, compliances, tax reviews, and audits.
  • Stay up-to-date with other Indirect Taxes Laws, such as Service Tax & VAT Laws, and provide expert guidance on compliance and litigation matters.
  • Develop and submit strategic tax planning documents, replies to tax notices, and draft appeals.
  • Represent clients before revenue authorities concerning EA 2000 audit, CERA audit, and DGCEI Investigations, Scrutiny, Assessment, Refund, etc.
  • Foster strong client relationships by providing timely responses to inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and working closely with our support team.
  • Ensure efficient delivery of projects, both technical and non-technical.
  • Mentor junior team members, guiding them through supervising, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Offer in-depth consultation on GST matters to clients, providing insights on tax implications related to new business deals and scenarios.
Key Qualifications:
  • CA/Lawyer with 5-6 years of experience in Indirect tax domain.
  • Proven expertise in complex GST technical review and advisory.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Strong drive to excel professionally and motivate others.
  • Ability to work independently with limited resources, under pressure.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Working knowledge of ERP packages and advanced MS Excel.
  • Business Development skills.
