Job Profile:

Senior Associate - Indirect Tax Litigation Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in Indirect Tax Litigation to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling tax matters, assisting clients, and preparing submissions and appeals.

  • Manage tax-related tasks, including preparation of submissions, replies to notices, and appeals, while meeting tax authorities' requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to respond to department inquiries, investigations, and audits.
  • Prepare reply to Show cause notice/audit replies.
  • Represent clients during hearings with tax officers as needed.
  • Prepare tax appeals for filing at the Joint Commissioner (Appeals) and Court (Tribunal, High Court/Supreme Court).
  • Assist seniors in representing clients before various judicial forums.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on various topics.
Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent Communication and Drafting Skills.
  • Strong Analytical and researching skills.
  • Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented.

A law graduate from a reputable institution with a strong academic record is essential. 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in Indirect Tax, preferably GST, Customs, etc., would be beneficial.
