As a furniture designer specializing in solid wood, you will be responsible for creating innovative and research-driven design concepts. This role involves analyzing customer purchase history, social media trends, and international market trends to develop new designs that align with our manufacturing strengths.

Our ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in furniture design, preferably in solid wood. They should have strong skills in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, and Rhino. Knowledge of global furniture trends, ergonomics, finishing techniques, and joinery is also essential.

">Key Responsibilities">
  • Conduct thorough research on customer preferences through past sales data, social media, and international market trends.
  • Create original design concepts in solid wood aligned with our export strengths.
  • Draft production-ready drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or similar CAD tools.
  • Collaborate with merchandising and sourcing teams to translate concepts into viable collections.
  • Work with prototyping teams to refine joinery, finishes, ergonomics, and structural integrity.
  • Incorporate KD (knock-down) joinery, export packaging standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop design boards, line sheets, and client presentations for export buyers.

  • 2+ years of experience in furniture design, preferably in solid wood.
  • Strong skills in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Rhino, etc.).
  • Knowledge of global furniture trends, ergonomics, finishing techniques, and joinery.
  • Ability to translate abstract research into commercially viable designs.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
